A jumbo loan is above the county loan limit and normal place for our San Diego and surrounding markets. Since these loans fall outside of the Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac guidelines, it's important to match you up with the right loan product that fits your financial background. We have multiple lenders that make qualifying you much easier. The interest rates on these products are generally a touch higher than conforming loans. In some cases, we have seen the jumbo interest rates drop below conforming which can make it beneficial to price your loan as a jumbo rather than conforming.
